1. COVID 19: Postponement of ICSAN activities/ programmes for March, April

Dear Members,  

This is to inform all our Members that the Institute’s programme and activities slated for the month of March and April 2020 have been put on hold until further notice.   This was necessitated by the incidence of the COVID 19 aka Corona Virus currently ravaging the country in response to which the authorities have placed embargo on the large human gathering for religious, social, educational, economic and other purposes.
ICSAN, as a responsible corporate Institute, has abided by this directive which was meant for the collective good of the society.
 
New dates will be announced for all  programmes and we shall duly notify you all.

2. Reminder on Call for articles on ICSAN Journal of Corporate Governance

Dear Esteemed Member,

As you are aware, the Institute in 2018 started the publication of a new bi-annual academic Journal called, “Journal of Corporate Governance and Administration”

The Journal focuses thematically on the areas of Corporate Governance, Administration, Law, Corporate Secretarial Practice and Management, Financial Management and Tax Management.

We are using this medium to request for articles for the next edition of the Journal from Members of the Institute who are knowledgeable and experienced in the aforesaid thematic areas.

The Journal will be widely circulated in academic and professional circles and also sent to the Government Parastatals, Chief Executives, Company Secretaries, professionals with administrative responsibility in the Private and Public Sectors as well as to the libraries of all reputable tertiary Institutions in the country and abroad.

Kindly note that the extended deadline for submission of articles for the Journal is April 30, 2020.

Please find below the “Rules for writers” to guide contributors on what is expected regarding the sought articles.

3. Application for the ICSAN Graduate Internship Scheme

Dear Esteemed Member,

This is to inform all interested Graduates of the Institute that application for participation in the Graduate Internship Scheme is still being accepted as the Institute prepares to send out next batch of Interns to corporate Engaging Entities.

The ICSAN Graduate Internship Scheme is an initiative under which Graduates of our Institute are posted to reputable corporate organisations for a period of three months, during which they will be exposed to practical side of the training they have undergone with ICSAN.

The objective of the Scheme is to give the Graduates of the Institute the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in Corporate Governance, Compliance, Share Registration, Company Secretarial Practice and other allied practical fields in reputable organisations in Nigeria.

This will not only enrich the participants’ in terms of skills and competencies and boost their employment opportunity but also equip those who want to set up their own firms with the requisite basic knowledge and confidence to do so.

Interested applicants should download and complete the Application Form from the “Download Section” of the Institute’s website, attach a passport size-photograph and scan alongside their curriculum vitae to kketefe@icsan.org  copying foyedeji@icsan.org.

Please note that this opportunity is limited only to Graduates or Associates who graduated within the past three years of the Institute.

4. Reminder on   2020 Annual Subscription

Dear Member,

We appreciate your valued contributions towards the development of the
Institute as we believe the Institute could not accomplish its set goals without you and your support.

We hereby request that those who are yet to pay their 2020 Annual subscription to  support the Institute to do so as this has fallen due since 1st January, 2020.

The following are the subscription fees for the various categories of members:

Fellows :     N15,000

Associates: N10,000

Graduates: N7,500

Please note that payment of subscription entitles you to the Group Life Assurance Scheme and Membership card. The Institute will also be coming up with other incentives to be attached to the Membership Card.

After payment, kindly scan the evidence of payment, your passport
photograph in JPEG format and details of your next-of-kin (Name,
Residential Address, Business Address, GSM,E-mail address,
relationship) if you are yet to do so to membership@icsan.org
