Onyekachi Uko, LL.B (HONS), BL, FCIS

Onyekachi Uko is a 1987 graduate of the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State.

He was called to the Nigerian Bar and was elected fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria on 30^th June 2016, and he is married with children.

He has worked for several law firms and currently runs his own law firm, O. C. Uko & Co. located at Surulere, Lagos.

He has served the Institute as follows:

Lagos Chapter:

1. Financial Secretary, 2015-2017.
2. Chairman of the Flagship Editorial Committee 2019-2021.

National:

1. Member of the AGM & Conference Planning Committee, 2015-2019.
2. Member of the Law Reform Committee, 2015-2019.
3. Member and Secretary of the Presidential Committee on missing Assets in the Secretariat, 2024.
4. Member Finance and General Purpose Committee-2019 till date;
5. Currently a member of the Governing Council of the Institute.

He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch.
