Oluseyi Abiodun BSc, MSc, MBA, MNIM, ACE, MNIMN, FICRM, CBA, FCIS.
Oluseyi Abiodun is a dynamic and versatile professional. He is an Information and Communication Technology expert, an astute administrator and a consummate Governance practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin Kwara-State, a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer-Science with emphasis on software defined networks (SDN) from University of Ibadan, Oyo-State and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun-State. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (FCIS), A member of Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), a member of Chartered Association of Business Administrators (CABA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Customer Relationship Management.
He was the pioneer Data Communication Manager for Huawei Technologies Company Limited, in West Africa, responsible for Technical Sales. In this capacity, he led Huawei into many telecommunication service providers. He also worked as the Lead- Service Provider, Systems Engineer for Cisco Systems Inc. a Multinational Information and Technology Company based in San Jose, California, USA and he is responsible for technical sales functions across English speaking West African market.
He is acknowledged in the Telecommunication Industry in Nigeria for successfully leading new Multinational Technology companies – particularly, as pioneer Tellabs’s Country Manager for its West Africa market (Tellabs- a leading global Optical Transmission Technology Equipment Manufacturer, based in Naperville, Illinois, USA) .He also worked for Calix Inc, a multinational telecommunication equipment manufacturer based in Petaluma, California, USA as the Regional Director of Sales for West and Central Africa. In this role, he led the Calix broadband network initiatives within the West Africa region.
Oluseyi Abiodun was a Vice-Chairman (ICSAN, Oyo Chapter) and Past Chairman (ICSAN, Oyo Chapter). He is currently serving as a member of ICSAN Nomination Committee, ICSAN Building Committee and he is also the current Chairman of ICSAN Digital Economy Sectoral Group. He was actively involved in enabling the Lead City University management, towards passing the ICSAN examinations. Oluseyi has been a regular facilitator in the area of IT Governance and various IT related capacity building sessions such as MCPE and other trainings for ICSAN and ICSAN Oyo State Chapter. He has taught Corporate Financial Management (CFM), Corporate Administration (CA) in the preparation for the qualifying examinations of ICSAN in the western region particularly Oyo state and has been very instrumental to cementing collaborations between ICSAN and the Oyo State civil service commission; and between ICSAN and Lead city University which led to signing of MoU between the two entities for Masters in Corporate Governance.
He has attended numerous international trainings in Naperville, Illinois, USA, San Jose, California USA, Phoenix, Arizona, USA, Dallas, Texas USA, Johannesburg, South-Africa, Reading, United Kingdom, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Munich, Germany among others.
Oluseyi Abiodun is currently, the Regional Director (West & Central) Africa for Tejas Networks, a multinational telecommunication equipment manufacturer. He is leading the Tejas broadband initiatives based on fiber network architecture, optical transmission and fixed LTE technologies in West Africa.
