Adewunmi, Ibrahim Babasegun, FCIS

Mr Adewunmi is a legal practitioner of 25 years standing. He is a Fellow of the Institute Chartered Secretary and Administrators of Nigeria, an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered mediators of Nigeria and an Associate member, Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom.

He started out as a part time lecturer in Corporate Law at the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administration and has been a lecturer in Corporate Administration at the Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrators of Nigeria, Alausa, Lagos in the last 14 years.

He has facilitated trainings in the area of Industrial relations more particularly Employer-Employee relationship, Criminology, Banking and Finance and other field of human endeavour which relates to law.

He obtained his first degree in Law (LL. B) from Ogun state University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University and then proceeded to the University of Lagos for his Master’s Degree in law where he bagged his (LL.M) Degree.

He began his legal career with the law firm of AHONARUOGHO, AHONARUOGHO &CO as an Associate counsel. 

He subsequently joined the services of Conoil Producing Limited, one of the foremost indigenous oil and Gas company as a Legal Officer and rose to become the Head of legal.

 He currently heads the oil and gas unit of West Africa Exploration and Production Limited, the oil and Gas arm of the Dangote Group.
