Application for Fasttrack to ICSAN Membership 2025

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) is a foremost and recognized professional body in Nigeria dedicated to enhancing the status and practice of Corporate Governance, and Company Secretaryship as provided in the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020.

The Institute is a member of Corporate Secretaries International Association (CSIA) and an affiliate of African Corporate Governance Network (ACGN). ICSAN is the only professional body authorized in Nigeria to conduct examinations leading to the qualification of Chartered   Secretaries and Administrators.

A Brief on The Fasttrack to Membership

The FAST TRACK to membership is an initiative of the Institute aimed at enabling distinguished professionals possessing a minimum of a first degree to join the Institute and take advantage of the numerous benefits of being a member.

Those Who May Apply

MUST POSSESS A MINIMUM OF A FIRST DEGREE as well as be one of the following:

1. 1. Company Secretaries with twenty (20) years cognate experience in Company Secretarial Practice and Corporate Governance.

1. 1. Public/Civil Servants who:
      

       

      1. 1. are not below the rank of Deputy Director, and;
      1. 1. have spent a minimum of ten (10) years in Senior management position.

1. 1. Senior Lecturers of Corporate Governance/Law/Accounting/Management Sciences/Social    Sciences etc.

1. 1. Legal Practitioners and legal advisers of companies with not less than twenty

(20) years post – call /practice experience

• • Bankers, Accountants and holders of other related degrees with a minimum of twenty(20) years working experience at senior   management   level

• • Directors and Senior Managers of Companies with at least twenty (20) years of  management experience.

Shortlisted candidates will benefit from exemptions as only core subjects will be examined after the training.

Method of Application:

Every interested applicant should:

1. 1. Pay a non-refundable fee of N50,000 to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria through any of the online payment platforms stated on the website of the Institute or to any of the following Bank Account of the Institute: Zenith Bank 1016426493

• • Forward the completed application form with copies of educational   and professional qualifications, Curriculum Vitae indicating details of  employment with positions held and two(2) Referees who are Associates or Fellows of the Institute, and a passport photograph to fasttrack@icsan.org or deliver same to: THE REGISTRAR/CEO, INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED SECRETARIES AND ADMINISTRATORS OF NIGERIA(ICSAN), PLOT 6 ELEPHANT CEMENT WAY, ALAUSA, IKEJA.

Please note that only candidates who have met the prescribed requirements will be contacted to pay the admission fee and attend the mandatory five (5) days training, assessment in addition to the induction ceremony to be held thereafter.
