Dr. Adeyinka Hassan is the Founder/CEO of H. Michael & Co. He holds first degree in Laws, master degrees in Laws, Business Administration with specialization in Marketing Management, Corporate Governance with distinction, specializing in Financial Services Regulation and Ph.D. in Business Administration specializing in Enterprise Governance. He is an Alumnus of Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo, London South Bank University, U.K, Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife. He was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in March 23, 1995. He is a World Bank Certified Board Evaluator and a certified Trainer by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Centre for International private Enterprise (CIPE), Washington DC.
Dr. Hassan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Administration, Nigeria. He is a member of the governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria. He is the current Honorary Legal Adviser of the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
Having previously been the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of a quoted Bank in Nigeria, he has been involved in negotiating complex commercial transactions and structured financing. He has handled various Advisory Services spanning Capital Markets, Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance, Corporate Restructuring, Innovation & Organizational Change Management. He has made remarkable contributions to the study of Corporate Governance with his various research works recognized in local and international journals.
He is a member of various professional bodies, notably, Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Capital Markets Solicitors Association, the Society for Corporate Governance, Nigeria, Association of Corporate Governance Professionals, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management and Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
He has worked on policy development and governance strategies for corporate organizations. He has been involved in dispute resolutions on various complex commercial transactions. He consults in Corporate Governance, Law and Management for both private and public quoted companies as well as being Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Private, Public and Non-for Profit organizations.
Dr. Hassan is an accomplished Lawyer, a Notary Public, a Management Consultant, a Chartered Secretary & Administrator, a Corporate Governance Consultant and an Entrepreneur. He is passionate about making societal impact by driving enterprise success.
